The AIDS Bereavement and Resiliency Program of Ontario acts as a valuable resource to Ontario’s community-based HIV/AIDS service organizations by assisting in their responses to cumulative grief at both and individual and agency level. Our team of skilled facilitators provide grief-support training and experiential workshops, supports, consultations and presentations to respond effectively to manifestations of loss arising from the AIDS-related deaths of clients, colleagues, friends and community.  We also collaborate with organizations to build worker, agency and community resiliency in the face of AIDS-related multiple loss and transition.

Bereavement, Loss, Grief and Resiliency Program
As the Program Director, you will oversee all aspects of the program, from needs assessment, design and development to, budgeting, funding proposals, reports and stakeholder engagement.  This role will suit an experienced program manager and trainer/facilitator with a background in adult education and practical experience dealing with AIDS-related loss. Ideally you have a social-services or community-based healthcare background combined with excellent knowledge of bereavement, particularly multiple loss, trauma, and community impact. We are seeking a team leader with effective people and program management skills. Your communication skills set a standard and you enjoy working in a creative, solution-focused environment with a competent team of colleagues.
